Azura IDN has been selected as the winner of AIS Business Acceleration 2023 for the one with the most transferable, replicable, and scalable innovative solutions.
The MantaOne Training and Workshop, held in August 2024 in Fiji, aimed to promote sustainable energy solutions by training local stakeholders in the use of MantaOne electric propulsion technology for boats. The event included sessions on the technology’s operation and maintenance, complemented by hands-on exercises and a live sea trial in a targeted area. These activities successfully built participants’ confidence in using the technology, particularly in reducing fuel costs and promoting environmental sustainability.

The primary objectives were to:
• Provide comprehensive knowledge and practical skills on operating and maintaining MantaOne electric engines.
• Showcase the potential of MantaOne technology for economic development in Fiji by promoting sustainable practices in marine resource management.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange among blue entrepreneurs and stakeholders, encouraging collaboration and the adoption of sustainable solutions in the maritimesector.
• Empower participants to advocate for sustainable energy and marine conservation in their communities.
Impact of the Project
Training conducted in collaboration with the Pacific Island Development Forum (PIDF) at Bau Island
